Resurfacing Contractors Ltd installed this new 32 m² block paved driveway in Lymington, combining warm Heather paving with a contrasting Charcoal border.
Herringbone paving with decorative borders
The main driveway was laid in a herringbone pattern using Tobermore Pedesta blocks. The mixed tones of the Heather paving complement the property’s brickwork and established front garden.
A Charcoal border frames the driveway, with an additional inset line adding definition to the design. This detailing follows the driveway’s shape between the planted boundary and lawn, continuing towards the front entrance.
Careful detailing around the property
The paving was neatly cut around the bay window and adjoining access areas, bringing the driveway and approach to the house together. The border follows the changes in direction beside the lawn, creating a clear separation between the paving and garden.
The finished result
The completed driveway gives the property a smart, coordinated entrance. The herringbone layout and contrasting borders add character to the compact frontage while complementing the surrounding planting.
