Resurfacing Contractors Ltd installed this new resin bound driveway in Locks Heath, combining a rich Merlot finish with Tobermore Pedesta block edging and a new block paved entrance apron.
The installation
The driveway runs from the entrance between timber fences before opening out into a generous parking area beside the house and double garage. The layout called for careful detailing along the boundaries and around the existing paved areas.
Our progress photographs show the asphalt base in place ahead of the resin installation, with the block edging defining the driveway’s shape.
Merlot resin and block paving
We finished the driveway using the Daltex Merlot blend. Its warm red tones complement the property’s brickwork and tiled roofs, giving the approach a distinctive, coordinated appearance.
Tobermore Pedesta block paving frames the resin surface, following the driveway’s changes in direction and creating neat transitions around the property. A new block paved apron defines the entrance and adds a contrasting finish where vehicles enter the driveway.
The finished result
The completed 135 m² project brings the entrance, driveway and parking area together with a consistent resin bound finish. The combination of Merlot aggregate and block paving creates a striking approach while retaining clear definition around the edges.
