Due to the size and length of the roadway, our team utilised specialist asphalt paving machinery to achieve a consistent finish across the full 1,600m² area.
The AC20 binder course provided a robust supporting layer, while the 10mm SMA wearing course created a hard-wearing surface suitable for regular vehicle movements.
Using mechanical paving equipment allowed our team to maintain consistent laying widths, surface levels and compaction throughout the project.
